It All Started With a Big Bang

Goodbyes are hard, but they are inevitable. Deep down we all know things are going to end anyway and yet there is a voice that demands for the continuity.
When I had, for the first time, come across 'The Big Bang Theory' little I had imagined that I might someday pen down how much I am going to miss the show when they'll finally ring the curtain down.
Now that the show is over, next logical thing would probably be to play season 01 episode 01 again and do a marathon over the weekend, but it makes me a little sad when I realise that there would be nothing to look forward to anymore
Although the last episode of the show argues that the change is the only constant factor in the universe, I am quite sure that the love that I have for the show might never change. The smile, the laugher every single episode of the show brings on no matter how many times I watch it - it won't change either and the fact that The Big Bang Theory would unarguably always be the place to go to after a stressful day, that too, won't change. Like, never.
Of all the things that I love about tbbt, one that always amazes me is how all of the characters have evolved throughout the show. Their evolution couldn't have been more natural and in my opinion this is why the show appeals even to those who might not identify themselves with the community that all the characters, except probably for Penny, collectively represent.
When the show set on its course for the first time, it went with a slugline that said, "Smart is new sexy" and at no point in time throughout the show it deviated from the same. It in it fact went a step further and successfully established that the smart is humorous too.
Amidst all the speculations about season and series finale, creators have successfully crafted the end, the series really deserved. It is natural, understandable and perfectly normal to have a desire for something more, for a couple of more episodes if not an entire season, but then for those who have this desire, Chuck Lorry has something special written on the vanity card of the final episode. Do read it.
In the meantime make sure you remember that-
Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors.
