I hope you see, but not with the memory of what you have seen already. I hope you see, but not to compare with what you know already. You are, aren't you, too quick to react with your knowledge, conclusions, opinions, memories. You don't really 'see' anything, do you?You are impatient too. You want to 'know' the (so called) truth, don't you? You want to know what it is all about, what the life is all about.

Have you ever seen 'you seeing'? You with your petty little Gods, ideals, egocentric movements, a sense of pleasure and dispair, the annoyance of the known and the fear of unknown..! It's within, not without. Have you seen that?

Call it seeing, watching, observing or being aware and what not. They are mere words. They do nothing to a disquiet mind. Do they? Yes? No? Do you know? How do you know? Has your mind ever been quite, still and tranquil or have you been simply playing and fooling around with an age old game of self-hypnosis disguised as meditation?

Do you really believe sitting cross legged and trying to 'control' your breath has any value whatsoever beyond the mechanical nature of the very act? You believe so, don't you? You've been told, haven't you, that sitting and breathing rhythmically will do wonders! It'll open the doors of spiritual world to you. Do you even know (by yourself) what the spirituality is all about, or you have simply chosen to believe what some exotic guru or a religious scripture has told and taught you? You have, haven't you? You also have some special word you love to utter don't you? The transcendental side of the meditation! Why? Why do you do that?

You are afraid, aren't you? Afraid of the boredom your daily, mundane routine life brings to you. Aren't you on a perpetual escaped from this sheer and desperate boredom that your life has become? Sports, literature, entertainment, sex, drinks, music, religion, your so called philosophical-intellectual endeavours.. subtract them all from your life, from your 'self.' What's left now? Nothing, except, perhaps, for a void anxious to find the next escape!!

Haven't you yet realised that you have absolutely no solid ground to stand upon, that you are nothing but a fleeting memoir of suffering, a pursuit of everlasting pleasure and a poor little soul crippled by the fear, anger, hate, jealousy, sorrow and the rest of it?

To realise that, you need to see first. But then, you don't know how to see, do you? You are too scared to let go of your pitiful existence, your cosy little adaptation with your surroundings that you, in effect, call the life. But, mind you, you have to let it all go eventually. You can argue against letting go all you might, but, there's no argument before the death.

The death! Death too scares you, doesn't it? Why? Because you want to hold on to the known a little more, for a little longer? I am sure you do! See it sirs, see it for what it is. Not for what you have been told it should be or for what you wished it could be. See it. See it all, see at once. There's no time in the realms of psyche. Time implies perpetuity. Time implies continuity. The past still ticks, the future does too. You either see it all 'now' or you don't see it at all.

That's why sirs, that I hope, you see, but not with the memory of what you have seen already. I hope you see, but not to compare with what you know already. You see it, for the sake of seeing, just like a flower blooms, for the very sake of blooming. See it.

I do hope you see !
